pag pasensyahan nyo na at tricycle lang ang nakayanan naming sakyan.. masyadong mahal ang bridal car.. ang tricycle sa amin, 15 pesos lang special na..hehehe
hirap naman mamili ng pictures for the album.. our photographer (Chito Cleofas) gave us around 3000 pictures they got from our wedding tapos pipili lang kami ng 150.. whats dat??? hehehe..

Souvenir
eto naman ang aming souvenir :) simpleng magnet lang with our caricature (had it made way back 2000 at Minnea.. cute no??).. wala kaming maisip na souvenir talaga nung una.. paano naman, iiwan lang ng guests yung ibibigay mo.. kung ako naman yung guest, maaalikabukan lang sa bahay yung souvenir at most of the time wala namang silbi.. hehehe.. so yan ang naisip namin.. wala naman kaming nakitang iniwan (o kinuha na ng mga taga bellevue? joke!) at sana may silbi sa mga guest namin -- at madali lang punasan in case maalikabukan :D

** pasensya na at matagal tagal na kaming hindi nagpost dito.. naging busy sa preps starting january kaya ngayon lang ulit after the wedding and after the honeymoon :)
Bad dreams.. wet dreams
Jitters? Excitement? Stress? its probably a mix of everything. Last night (or probably very early this morning), I had another wedding dream (ano ba tawag dun?), I believe my 5th since engagement (I never kept count since not one was worth remembering.. haha). Although, definitely, they are getting better. It used to be bad (might pass up as a nightmare) but definitely its getting better (buti naman).
Last nights dream was a case of my barong not being there during the wedding day. I ended up buying one in Rustans the same day. Not that bad right? :-)
Here are some of dreams that I can remember...
... wedding day. Church ceremony. Everything going well. Groom kisses bride. Couple walks out of the church with friends, relatives, and everyone waiting to throw what they usually throw. Couple gets into to bridal car. As car reaches reception venue, guess what? They both remember that they didnt take pictures at the church!!!! Gosh! haha
... wedding day. It looks like a garden ceremony but wait there's a pool in the middle of the garden. Secondary sponsors and bridesmaids start arriving in.. are those gowns like mini skirts???? Ceremony begins. Priest walks in .. in the middle of the pool! Secondary sponsors and bridesmaids start their march.. in to the pool! Now, is that fun or what? :D
.. wedding day. Church ceremony begins. Groom walks down the aisle with matching tears. Groom waits for bride to finally walk down the aisle. Groom sees the bride...IN JEANS!! What's that?!
- went to the church for last minute check up - flowers, aircondition. Checked my watch after I had some fun checking stuff at the church..lo and behold it was alreadyl 3pm and people were starting to arrive for the 3:30 ceremony.. hihi
I dont think it will ever end. I'm sure there'll be more as the day approaches (2+ months and counting). As long as I wake up knowing that it's just a dream then I'm fine with it. At least come wedding day, we'll be prepared for it... I hope.
Save the Date
Here's my attempt to create our save-the-date card. It's the final version .. i think.. hehehe.. this has been edited thousands of times from fonts to pictures to stripes to layout. We finally decided that this will be it :D and yes, kami yung nasa picture .. sawa na ako na mukha ng couple na naka-smile ang nasa save the date.. so yan, para maiba naman at medyo melodramatic ang dating.. effective ba?
Excursion at La Luz, La Luz
Taray ba ng picture???? Say mo di ba, parang ang laki ng dibdib?! hehehe.. Isa lang yan sa sangkatutak naming pictures during our prenup pictorial at La Luz Resort, San Juan, Batangas.
The day, Oct 6, thursday, started early for the gang, 6:30am.... the gang being, I and Karen, her sister, photographer Chito Cleofas, and makeup artist Madge Lejano with hair stylist Steve (ano nga ba apelyido nito?). 6:30am was our scheduled meeting time in Makati (to pick up Chito) after which we proceeded to Rustans Shangrila to pick up Madge. We then proceeded to La Luz on this quite cloudy day...kainis no? pictorial tapos cloudy at nag-uuulan.. tsk tsk tsk... anyway, after more or less a 3 1/2 trip we arrived at La Luz ready to start shooting. Kami lang ang tao sa La Luz?! buti na lang kami lang at kung hindi e pinagpyestahan kami ng mga onlookers while shooting... "sino ba tong mga to? ang poporma at papicture picture pa?! artista ba tong mga to??" hehehe
So there, after arriving at around 10am and settling down, sinimulan na ang dapat simulan. Karen and I got dressed..... Madge went about her ways and started applying makeup on Karen and myself (o ayan ha, pati ako minake-up-an.. pero hindi naman ganon kadami... foundation lang.. MAC #47 ata...as if kailangan pa namin?!?! hahaha) After the hair and makeup session with Madge and Steve, naglunch muna kami, para daw magsettle yung make up sa aming beautiful faces. Lunch served were fried chicken, sauted asparagus (na sobrang nipis, asparagus tagalog ata - meron ba nun?), inihaw na tilapia, and beef steak.
After the filling lunch and some chika chika, ayan na, picture picture na with Chito, with Madge being the second/backup photographer (taray di ba?! talentadong bata.. hihi). First of as costume was the colorful green and orange shirt for me and the orange shirt for Karen. Chito took shots of us in the cabana, under the umbrella, sitting on the sand, at kung saan saan pa.
Syempre kailangan magchange in costume, sayang naman yung iba naming damit. Next stop was the white linen polo for me and a red shirt with poncho (yun nga ba tawag dun?) for Karen. Picture picture ulit.. under the trees, on the benches, on the spanish steps (imbento ko lang to.. hehehe), sa batuhan, sa batuhan, at sa batuhan pa :)

Now getting home was definitely a challenge, aside sa sobrang dilim at liblib ng laluz e what-can-you-expect-sa-mga-taong-pagod-dahil-kakashoot-buong-araw-at-nakaupo-lang-sa-sasakyan??? ano pa e di tulog?!?! tulugan ba naman ako.. ayun, medyo naligaw ligaw kami pauwi pero keri naman :D Sobrang buhos din sa south super hiway nung gabi kaya hirap din.. kakahiya nga at di na namin nainvite sila Chito at Madge for dinner.. ayan, tulog tulog kasi (joke!! hihi)
Definitely the photo shoot experience was worth all the pagod (like so shushal) especially working with guys like Chito and Madge (at syempre si Steve). Alam ko na ngayon ang feeling ni Aga, Sharon at Kris with all their billboards in Metro Manila. Ganon pala kasarap mag photo shoot. Kahit araw araw gagawin ko :D

an afternoon with Madge Lejano
Date : Sept 23, 2005
Sept 23, 2005 was our scheduled shooping day with Madge. Being our MUA, she offered na samahan daw nya kami magshopping para sa attire namin sa aming prenup... bongga di ba :) we're gonna be having our prenups at LaLuz beach resort in San Juan, Batangas so dapat beach beach ang suot.. hehehe..
We met at around 3:30pm in SM megamall.. sa SM dept store kami magshopping since aside from limited ang budget, madami daw great finds dun :D nagkita kami nila madge sa may cosmetics area and from went straight to the Mens section. Her concept for me was a colorful shirt with matching linen drawstring pants.
Una, naghanap kami ng pants but medyo minalas at walang nakitang drawstring pants... Madge said just to bring a khaki pair of pants or kung may time pa e maghanap daw ako ng drawstrings. So yun, we then went to find a shirt or two (para daw may change costume).. ikot ikot .. tingin tingin.. and voila! nakakita ang lola mo ng striped green and orange shirt.. I was like "eyowwwwwww.. that is SOOO NOT me!!" hehehe.. I've been used to wearing earth colors lately.. tones on brown, dark green, gray ba.. and of course the usual safe colors like blue, black, and white.. talagang hindi ko kinaya yung pinakita nyang polo nung una but she said to trust her.. naggoglow daw ako!.. yeah right?!?! hehehe .. so sabi ko "sige na nga.. reputasyon mo naman ang nakasalalay dyan :D".. mura din naman yung polo so kahit ibenta ko sa ukay ukay pagkatapos ng shoot para mabawi ko naman yung ginastos ko haha
One polo down, one more to go.. hanap hanap ulit.. tingin tingin... at ayun, may nakitang white long sleeves with red and orange dahon design sa harap (hirap idescribe.. hehehe).. eto, medyo ok ok naman at wala naman akong masyadong objections :-D eto, kahit paano masusuot ko... or at least hindi ako mahihiripan mag isip masyado kung isusuot ko hehehe
After nabili na ang aking wardrobe, we then proceeded to buy Karen's wardrobe.. sa SM pa din syempre :) We went straight to the Ladies apparel and first on top of the list was a skirt.. Madge found the "in" thing right now.. that is, the gypsy-type of skirt.. yun bang "panglaba" (with matching planggana na parang tansan na malaki.. remember those?) according to the saleslady as Karen was trying to fit the skirt haha.. syempre hindi din choice ni Karen yung skirt pero may magagawa pa ba kami :D After the skirt, bumili lang sila ng orang shirt and that was it...tapos na ang shopping.
ay, hindi pa pala :D We still had to buy yung request ni Madge.. that is, we both wear white slippers. Since maaga pa at wala naman kaming gagawing 3 (Madge had a "date" that night, pero 7pm pa), we went around Megamall to look for slippers.... syempre, ano ba ang "in" ngayon as far as slippers are concerned???? H A V A I A N N A S! Bale wala ang natipid namin sa pagshopping sa SM di ba? hahaha.. di bale, on budget naman kami kahit bumili kami ng havaiannas kaya sige na nga, minsan lang naman magkaron ng ganito :D Wala kaming nakita sa megamall dahil walang sizes yung store na pinuntahan namin so sabi ni Madge sa Shangrila daw meron.. so off we went to Shangrila.. walang magawa di ba? hihi Nakisabay na kami kay Madge papuntang Shangrila on his trusted van (incindentally she calls it Karen) and went straight to Chocolate to buy the flip flops.. sinuwerte naman at may sizes :)
After buying the tsinelas, nagdinner na kami since mga 630 na din yun. We ate at this Pinoy restaurant inside Shangrila (nakalimutan ko na pangalan :) ) and ordered sisig, pinakbet, fried squid at syempre plain rice. Kain kain, chika chika. Grabe, sangkatutak ang chika ni madge... buti na lang at madaldal sya kasi mga tahimik kaming tao (as if?! hehehe).. dami nyang kwento, from her wedding experiences, work experiences, pati mga kwentong buhay :) Never a dull and quiet moment talaga with her. As the cliche goes - parang matagal mo syang kilala at friend.. hehehe.
1st stop.. Church Hunting....
Finally, I decided to post something sensible... sana nga may sense..hehehe.. of course, our 1st stop after we got engaged (paano? ayaw nga, secret namin yun :D) was looking for a church. Karenina's qualifications?? simple lang.. AIRCONDITIONED! Qualifications ko? simple rin lang.. Mataas ang ceiling para grandiosa ang dating.. hehehe. .. Ayos ba? ano akala nyo qualifications namin.... solemn? may dating? dun kami una nagdate/nagsimba? something meaningful? hindi no.. simpleng simple, airconditioned at mataas ang ceiling :D
With that,we narrowed our choices to the following:
1. Christ the King, Greenmeadows
2. National Shrine of the Sacred Heart, Makati
3. St. James the Great, Alabang
4. Santuario de San Antonio, Makati
We were all set actually for Christ the King.. gusto talaga ni Karenina dito and I have no objections ... maganda.. maluwag ang parking.. hindi ganon kahirap puntahan.. and most importantly.. malamig at mataas ang ceiling!! panalo di ba?! we asked if our date (March 18) was available.. available pa daw,,,, yung 10am :) the afternoon sked (3pm) was already booked. So yun, we pencil booked the 10am slot thinking na 'sige, ok naman ang morning wedding".
We then proceeded on looking at other churches.. Santuario de San Antonio was also an option kasi syempre aircon at ang taray ng church di ba? Unfortunately, it mostly caters to Forbes and Dasma residents unless you want a wedding at 7pm. So medyo out of the question na sya..
We also went to the National Shrine of Jesus in Dao since aircon din sya at maganda din yung church... unfortunately, mababa ang ceiling.. hihihihi
Next stop, St. James the Great! Syempre naman boto ako dito... ang lapit kaya sa bahay namin.. walang dahilan para malate ako on the big day (sana nga wag malate.. hehehe)... also, aircon na, grandiosa pa ang dating :D admitedly, bihira ako magsimba dito dahil mas malapit yung simbahan sa labas , St. Jerome... hehehe
days (and weeks ata) passed.. during those time ang usapan lagi is kaya ba namin ang morning wedding.. we were really convincing ourselves na ok ang morning wedding.. sa akin ok lang, kayang kaya.. hehehe.. kahit 30 mins before the wedding kaya ko magising and still be ready, exage?!?! THEN one say karenina just decided na ayaw na nya ng morning wedding, afternoon wedding na lang daw.. AND sa St. James na lang daw at wag na sa Christ the King.. hehehe
..... yan po ang version ko :)
